Please note a “Hospitality Fee” of 18% has been added to your bill.
Hospitality Included is an important new feature to your dining experience. It helps to provide financial security to the entire staff at Pearl Diver, and protection from any discriminatory behavior traditional tipping can lead to. This Fee is spread among all employees at Pearl Diver including, servers, bartenders, bussers, line-cooks and dishwashers.
The fee is applied to the pre-tax subtotal. In all restaurants, unless you supply a cash tip, you are paying a gratuity on the post-tax total.
Example: Subtotal on bill $100, here is the math for a typical transaction:
18% Hospitality Fee
Subtotal $100.00
HST $13.00
18% Gratuity $18.00
Final Total $131.00
